Smart Campaign e-Learning Module Wins Global Giveback Competition!

Eric Berg, the executive director of LINGOs (Learning In NGOs) on Thursday announced the eight finalists and two winners of the second eLearning Global Giveback Competition at The eLearning Guild Learning Solutions Conference and Expo in Orlando, Florida.
We’re very proud that our first-ever e-learning course, “Client Protection and Financial Education in Microfinance,” was presented as a winner in the individual developer category!
The competition is a collaborative effort between the eLearning Guild and LINGOs to match e-learning developers with nonprofit organizations.
According to the LINGOs blog, “the top courses in each category were then sent to an international panel of seven e-Learning experts based in four countries. The judges reviewed each of the top courses against eight criteria and selected the top courses from each of the two entry categories.”
As we’ve blogged earlier, the course was created in collaboration between the Smart Campaign, ACCION, and Amanda Warner, a freelance e-learning developer. The course objective is to make the case for client protection and financial education, and to assist users in thinking about ways to implement the Client Protection Principles in their own organizations.
We would like to especially thank Amanda for volunteering her time to create this tool for the Smart Campaign, and for all her effort and hard work!
