The Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship seeks to accelerate entrepreneurial approaches and solutions to the world’s most pressing problems by uniting social entrepreneurs with essential partners in a collaborative pursuit of learning, leverage, and large-scale social change. CFI’s Deborah Drake is participating as a delegate.
Forum delegates represent nearly 65 countries and participate in a range of interactive events in which delegates can openly share, collaborate, innovate, and, ultimately, advance social entrepreneurship. As the vice president of the Center’s Investing in Inclusive Finance (IIF) Program, Ms. Drake leads the Africa Board Fellowship Program, which is dedicated to strengthening governance and improving risk management and strategy for CEOs and board directors of sub-Saharan African financial institutions. She also directs the Financial Inclusion Equity Council (FIEC), a membership organization of private entities making equity investments in financial institutions in the developing world.
