Kojo Appenteng is currently Managing Director at Edgemont Capital Partners. He was previously with the investment banking division at Credit Suisse where he focused on M&A and corporate finance in digital health and fintech. Before Credit Suisse, he worked in investment banking and capital markets at Harris Williams, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley. With almost 20 years of investment banking and technology experience, Kojo Appenteng has his fingers on the pulse of the healthcare technology markets and is one of the most authoritative voices and analysts in the sector.

A globally-minded thought leader, Kojo is also an active participant in impact investing and financial inclusion. He currently serves on the Advisory Council for the Center for Financial Inclusion. His microfinance experience includes serving on the board of the Accion Microfinance Council in New York, working in the Office of the CFO of Accion East, and serving as Team Lead on Morgan Stanley’s Microfinance Team, where he advised MFIs in East Africa and Bosnia. Kojo previously served on the boards of Seeding Labs – a non-profit organization that provides lab equipment to researchers in low-income countries, and the African Diaspora Marketplace – a grant-giving program to support entrepreneurs with demonstrable commitment to high social impact.

He earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and impact investing from Oxford University. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and son.
